So I decided to try meal prepping a different way this week. If you never have tried meal planning/prepping before you definitely should try it out! I dont have to think and stress about my meals for the week and it keeps me on track. I am sharing below what I did this week for the first time! LONG POST WARNING! :) Step 1: Make a plan! The colors are coordinated with the 21 Day Fix. It just makes it easier for myself. I am only planning Mon-Thurs this week. I will make another plan for the weekend and go shopping again if I need to on Thursday while my 3 year old is in preschool so I dont end up with extra goodies in my cart that I dont want :) Step 2: Go shopping and stick to your list only! My daughter looks pretty relaxed in that cart haha Step 3: I labeled 4 gallon sized bags with the days of the week (Mon-Thurs). Step 4: I filled snack sized & lunch baggies with portioned out foods and labeled them for what meal they were to be eaten. I even wrote on my can of tuna! Step 5: Put your smaller baggies into the corresponding days. I had my meal plan taped to my cabinet so I could see which bags went into what days! DONE! The only things that are not in these bags are things like bread & tortillas. I also did not put anything for my dinners this week in there.
