So, I found a snapping turtle on New River Air Station near a child developmental center. A lady and I then decided to relocate the turtle so that he wouldnt get run over. So, the lady grabbed the turtle, put it in a container, and carried I It across the street, where I released it by a nearby creek. As I began walking back to my vehicle two men in an undercover government vehicle pulled in front of me. The driver then rolled down his window and said, Hey, you. Come here... What did you just release in that creek? I said, A snapping turtle. He then took off his sun glasses, glanced over, what looked like his partner in crime, and said, Very well. Just making sure youre not releasing any non-native animals into the wild. Have a good day sir, and they slowly drove away. I love animals, but I just thought that was a little weird. Lol.
