So.... I gets up this morning ( ahem!) to find a heap of soot in my fireplace, the chimney was swept in April btw... ! I followed the trail of black paw prints to a certain demonic ginger cat called Zim! ( son of Mad Lizzie.. enough said!) This fiend of a cat had decided to try and climb the chimney at some point during the night and having failed in his attempt, he had fallen back down and bought any remaining soot down with him! I have been trying to clean soot off every surface, and also had a wonderful time trying to bath the little git! Cats... dont ya just love them! :(
