So I had multiple doctor visits today and it was a mixed bag. The grey matter lady says, considering my history. Im holding up well. We are holding off on meds to see how the next week unfolds. The physician I went to see about my hand didnt have such good news. It seems I still have broken bones in my hand and wrist, and there is nothing they can do about it. I have osteoporosis and the bones in my hand where the implant was placed are shedding flakes/splinters of bone around the connection points. In addition there were free floating broken bones that were never secured due to placement. My surgeon never informed me of this. Basically, I was told Ill have to live with this and when it gets bad enough, theyll have to do surgery to pull the bone fragments out. Other than that, there is nothing they can do. That kind of sucked.
