So I had my first CT scan today, that was interesting. Also more chest X-rays and I dont even want to talk about how many viles of blood theyve pulled out. And whileas I have my doubts about this facility (needs updated badly) the faculty is beyond top notch and and its so nice to actually be getting listened to instead of passed over like where I was. They have diagnosed me with impressive (I told the dr we had different definitions of the word impressive) bi-lateral pneumonia. But lungs are over 50% full of it. However, my white blood cell count is only slightly elevated which leads the Dr to believe that the pneumonia is secondary to whatever the primary reason is. And thats good because thats what Ive been saying all along. Ive ran around in short sleeves every winter since I was born so I just couldnt believe that pneumonia was the main culprit. In the CT Scan they also figured out that there is very significant amounts of fluid on the outside of my lungs and thats why I keep feeling like Im drowning. Theyve used meds to get the fluid off and tomorrow morning Im getting and ECHO and well see why the ol ticker is doing its job quite up to par. Either way, Dr is saying Im going to be here atleast through the weekend. And, best news yet, they are working on getting me a private room so I dont have to threatened to stomp another mans ass like I did last night for being a rude prick! ;) I wont lie, when they mentioned my heart it honestly scared the holy shit out of me, but I do have faith in where Im at and trust that the doctors know what they are doing. Besides, I have way to many more half cocked, wide ass, crazy plans in store for it to be anything to major. I really dont know what Id do without my wife and my momma right now, and many others but they are the two that are doing more then I could have ever ask for. Thank you Sarah Clark and Glenda Newell Bossa, it means the world to me.
