So, I have been looking into the virgin birth as supported by - TopicsExpress

So, I have been looking into the virgin birth as supported by Scripture. A few questions answered will help me on the way. Please indulge if you can or will. 1) Isa 8:3 And I went in to the prophetess; and she conceived, and bore a son. And the Lord said to me, Call his name, Spoil quickly, plunder speedily. Within context of the narrative, this seems to be the plain text fulfillment of 7:14. Why a human mother AND father? 2) Gen 1:27`28 And God made man, according to the image of God he made him, male and female he made them. And God blessed them, saying, Increase and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the seas and flying creatures of heaven, and all the cattle and all the earth, and all the reptiles that creep on the earth. It seems man is to procreate in the normal way and this way is blessed. When was it ever prophesied that this would change to product a different kind of man? When did this change? 3) Gen 6:1-8 And it came to pass when men began to be numerous upon the earth, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God having seen the daughters of men that they were beautiful, took to themselves wives of all whom they chose. And the Lord God said, My Spirit shall certainly not remain among these men for ever, because they are flesh, but their days shall be an hundred and twenty years. Now the giants were upon the earth in those days; and after that when the sons of God were wont to go in to the daughters of men, they bore children to them, those were the giants of old, the men of renown. And the Lord God, having seen that the wicked actions of men were multiplied upon the earth, and that every one in his heart was intently brooding over evil continually, then God laid it to heart that he had made man upon the earth, and he pondered it deeply. And God said, I will blot out man whom I have made from the face of the earth, even man with cattle, and reptiles with flying creatures of the sky, for I am grieved that I have made them. The whole earth was flooded because of the sons of God mixing with the daughters of men. Mixed flesh of human and spirit beings brought judgement. When did this change? 4) Exo 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbours wife; thou shalt not covet thy neighbours house; nor his field, nor his servant, nor his maid, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any of his cattle, nor whatever belongs to thy neighbour. It is sin take another mans wife or to even desire to do so. When did this change?
