So, I just commissioned a painting from someone ive never met, simply because the joy that theyve inadvertently provided me and dozens of other people this week compelled me to actively engage the artist and support them. And hey its black friday yall, and since whether we want to admit it or not buying things has kind of been programed into us so.... might I suggest buying something that someone made. mr. best buy isnt going to sit there blushing with glee because you bought that television. but i know many painters and musicians would would jump for joy if they knew you took the time to support them and support yourself by inviting unique creation into your life. this is not a backhanded way of me advertising my wares either. please dont buy my shit. Ive received plenty good news this week and i know a million artists and creators that would love to know you bought their record or print or whatever and had a dance party instead of having a trample party to snag the new tickle me elmo. :)
