So I just got done watching The Congress with Robin Wright and... My GOD what a beautifully odd movie. I... cant really describe it, but its so strange while at the same time being such a wonderful film to enjoy. The cinematography, the acting, the sound design, and the animation GOOD LORD is it downright amazing. Its an unique film that makes you think about how exactly we as humanity are putting our time into so much that doesnt deserve too much attention (think of it like a Truman Show type of story, only more... trippy). My only major complaint is that it is a bit confusing as to what exactly is happening the way the story is structured, but because of Robin Wrights awesome performance and one heck of a unique concept, you kind of tend to look past it. This might be a strange film that I never really expected, but its one that I think is worth checking out at least once, especially if youre an artsy film kind of person.
