So I know I havent posted much lately. The reason why is Ive been deep in thought about a hand full of things. One of those things has been my Prodigious Fund 100 day challenge horse Ali..... Ali is a one of a kind horse. Hes young, he has no injuries from the track his flexion test was 100% good. He has a mind that is open wider than any book. He has taken everything I have exposed him to in stride and never complains, this guy is a peoples horse! You can ride him anywhere English or western, hell go through and over anything you put in front of him, you can shoot off him, ride him carrying Old Glory, or with the garrocha pole. His gaits are solid as a rock and he is soft in the bridle. Ali wants nothing more out of life than to please who ever will listen to him. This horse known as Curried Matt or Ali is the horse that almost every person who wants that little bit of something more out of the life we lead as horseman (that connection between horse and human) may spend their entire life looking for. I like so many am always looking for that (special horse) and I tell you what Ali IS that horse but, I dont know if it would be fair to keep such a fantastic horse for myself. My life is devoted to two things one is my family but the other is to all the horses I have the pleasure to come in contact with. I was thinking of buying Ali for myself however, I feel it would even better to see someone take him and ride through their journey of life and get to experience something not everybody gets to have. ~Shelby Ahrens,
