So I streamed two movies last night on Netflix, and it turns out, to my greater fortune, it ended up being a Peter Stormare double feature. The first one was Schwarzeneggers recent The Last Stand. It was really rather enjoyable, and I had a good time with it. Fun action, Arnold wasnt ridiculous as I had thought he might be, and it wasnt all about just him. The cast worked well together and the action was engaging. The second one was Hansel & Gretel, the recent one with Jeremy Renner. It was far worse than I had expected, and that was going into it with low expectations. I thought it might at least be fun for a bad movie, but it was crap from beginning to end. True to his type-casting, Peter Stormare played the head of the mercenary team in Last Stand and the sheriff of the town in Hansel & Gretel. Im always happy to see him in a role and I have to say that once the troll stepped on his head in Hansel & Gretel, (yeah, I dont care about spoiling that one), my head started to nod and I had a hard time keeping awake even through the big final fight scene.
