So I took a few weeks off of Facebook and learned quite a bit about myself, some things I like and some things I could improve on. Among them are: My self-esteem cant come from other people, I wont let it anymore. I have a better idea of what I deserve. The world is a quiet, peaceful place without Facebook. When given the freedom or opportunity to do what someone wants, they always will; if someone is always unable to meet you, they simply dont want to and are being polite. Respect that, and move on - saves both parties trouble and confusion. If you think something nice about someone, say it. Always. A compliment kept to yourself is a blessing prevented. Facebook is a tool to help share life, not replace it. So many people, myself included, have fallen guilty to the latter. Time is the most precious commodity we have, yet we tend to spend so much of it on ourselves. An easy gift to give to another, worth so much more than anything else we can give - try to spend more time building relationships. Salads can be manly too, with enough meat. My dog is a tremendous blessing. She is the most loyal, loving, appreciative being I have ever met. No matter how hard my day is, her derpy smile when I get home makes it better.
