So I wanted to do a little update because I was able to speak with several of Karls doctors today. The path he is following is just about identical to last time. Hes starting to spike fevers as high as 103+ again. The chemo they were giving him they started again and he can not tolerate it very well. They have him on broad spectrum antibiotics. He is very confused at times. He complains of severe headaches. They have the whole team consulted again. He has a neurologist, infectious disease, cardiologist, oncologist, and of course the medicine team. He has been getting chemo through spinal taps twice a week and through Iv. He is very weak today and as the Dr said, he is very sick. :( As far as his spirits, he is still acting like a fool! Right now all the cultures and xrays and such to rule out any specific infection have all been coming back negative. The Dr said unfortunately it is common for everything to be negative and all these side effects are coming from the arcinic chemo. If I find out more I will post it. Right now he needs prayers!!
