So I was noticing something. There are a lot of larger fb homebrewing groups. Not clubs, just regular groups. I dont need to mention any names. I know Eric Porras and Mike Malsed are in some of the ones Im in. Well. They suck. Every post gets 1000 replies and they always devolve into bickering and trolling, just like the political and religious memes. And god forbid you actually comment yourself because your notifications go off for a week afterwards to make sure you dont miss out on any of it. Well were over 1000 now, but were not like that. I think the reason is 2 fold. 1. Of the 1063, only maybe 150 of us at best actually participate on the discussions, 2. Those 150 know each other pretty well, so theres no anonymity factor. My question is this. Do these other groups serve any purpose besides feeding the beast of fb ugliness, and is there such a thing as too big?
