So I was thinking about how the Bible is one of the most controversial words around. We also refer to it as The Word of God. It might get some negative connotation-(an idea or feeling that a word invokes in addition to its literal or primary meaning.) But Im here to tell you that it set this captive free!! The proof is in the pudding or the outcome. It is the Truth in this world, when everything else is piling lies on top of misleadings. Studying the Bible completely changed life extremely, dramatically, and all for the better. Yes, I am convicted almost every time I read, but that means that God is still working in me, Im not complete yet in the since that their is still work to be done in me!! The Bible is our direct access to not only the stories about some men and women and their lives on earth , its About JESUS, through out all of History, and His interaction with man from the absolute beginning!! His death and resurrection saves us, but without accepting that gift, death will come, and eternal separation from God and our loved ones and all things good is inevitable. Think about it like this... You are on a sinking island, its going down and the ONLy way out of drowning is to accept Jesus and His hand of help!! If you dont, its lights out, literally. If you do, well, that is the breathtaking most beautiful moment of your life!! Proof is in the outcome!! Your life is about to change, one scripture at a time:) In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. (John 1:1-5 NKJV)
