So. I went and took my written exam for the National Registry Paramedic at 0945 yesterday, wearing my lucky Strike Out Leukemia shirt. I felt like a moron while taking it. It was the toughest test I have ever had to take. I literally felt like I was guessing on half the questions. Everyone else that I know got their results within 3 to 4 hours. Not me. Spent all day and night refreshing the page to no effect. After a long, sleepless night, convinced that I had failed and almost sick to my stomach all night, I woke up depressed. After refreshing the screen a hundred times, with no results, this morning I decided to do some laundry. As Im walking by the computer with a load of laundry I see the words Examination Scored on the screen. With a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, I juggle the basket and press the show all button. And what does it say? Congratulations on Passing! Of course, I dropped the laundry basket on my foot and screamed with joy and relief, scaring my poor cat into hiding for the next three days. LOL I, absolutely, could not be happier right now! I am only one practical station redo from Paramedic status!
