So I went to my sons school this morning to put up Otis Spunkmeyer Cookie Dough Fundraiser (hint hint) posters (that start TOMORROW) and I was only there a good 30 mins and while I was there: 1. 2 different parents came in to sign their children up for kindergarten 2. A child was sick and vomited all over the bus so of course they had to escort him to the nurse room & pray parents had a good number to pick him up (Parents make sure your contact info is updated) 3. A parent came in to ask for a different teacher for her son 4. A parent came in to wonder why they never received birth certificates back for their child 5. A parent came in looking for a lady that called her from social services because her child was out of school a whole week 6. A student came in to return a lost lunch box with no name inside (label your childs items parents ~ Here a great site to get some cool labels & SAVE 10% NCSave10.LabelDaddy All this happened in just 30 minutes. NEVER EVER take you school staff for granted. They have a job of looking after our precious children and most of them do a great job at it. Every now then, be nice and just say, I appreciate all you do. Alot of the time, words go a loooong way to make someone feel appreciated. That is all, carry on :)
