So, Im finding myself becoming more and more political. I read the stories about police brutality, immigration, gun control, government, and things of that sort. People that know me best have to be somewhat shocked. Im an even keeled kind of guy. Im not militant or politically active. I started questioning myself. This is the answer I came up with: I read to stay informed. The only way to combat ignorance and misinformation is with knowledge. I comment and share to educate. Education is what will elevate us above our current level of thinking. Most of all I do it for legacy. For the legacy of my kids and their kids. So that when someone tries to define them, assign them value according to some misinformed standard, theyll be able to look back and say, You cant define me. Im something youve never seen before. I dont care what value you say I have. I know my worth. Just my thoughts...
