So Im here in Texarkana hanging out with my brothers talking about how Gene Simmons is getting shit for telling immigrants to learn how to speak English . Granted, Gene Simmons is an asshole . I dont agree with a lot of the shit that oozes out of his mouth . However on this hes right . English is the primary language in this country . If youre gonna move here it is your obligation to learn the language and obey the law ! Im 100% Colombian , and even though I grew up here in the states, I know its vital to speak the language, regardless of where youre from. Thats how immigrants progress and move ahead and succeed. To move here and not learn the language is bullshit !!! You dont move to Germany and not learn German . Thats stupid ! If youre gonna LIVE here , then you have to learn how to function here . If anything , learning another language is an advantage . And to the person that says Gene , did you forget youre an immigrant too, did YOU forget that he knows how to speak English very well .... And hes rich !
