Studio 218 Productions presents: Gallery Night at the Art Bazaar. October 25, 2014 - Chicago’s first Art Bazaar! A combination of art, photography, live music, spoken word, sculptures & a visual projection screen. The Art Bazaar will be a unique urban avant garde experience. Q & A with featured graphic designer/artist Gustavo D. Castro. This Chicago native recently returned home after five years in Arizona and his work will be on display alongside a couple pieces from artist Dianna Parrott. Photography from Studio 218‘s past works in Southwest Florida with Orsiniphotography (2009-’11) and a Noir shoot for a murder mystery in Lakeview with photographer Serge Abellard (2013). Sculptors/brothers Sebastian and Esteban Izqueirdo will wow us with what they created after Sebastian returning to Chicago from a 7 year soul searching stay in Japan. All pieces will be for sale and we will have a Live-Stream silent auction during a small portion. A state of the art sound system and guitarist Dean Scarpinato will provide the audio pleasure. Spoken Word mental expansion by Dometi the Prophecy and Brian Plazas. Guests are encouraged to speak if their inner-poet feels like coming out. Studio 218 is presenting this gallery as a symbol of pure artistic expression. Being that many guests will be going to costume parties after our event, feel free to come as is.
