So Im in the gym, and Fox news is reporting on the Malaysian Airlines plane that was shot down this morning. An older guy on the elliptical says, I wonder if Obama will be able to talk his way out of this one. I was trolled instantly. While running on the treadmill, I respond, This has nothing to do with America. It is a Malaysian plane over Ukrainian soil. He replies, Well, Im sure hell still try to get out of it. I reply, Its not an American plane! He says, Well, next time it might be. Okay, this drives me nuts! Im part of the ill-informed, lazy generation, but he can blather out the most ignorant statements, and feels justified. I hate that kind of mentality.
