So Im off in the rain to Waterville, after a quick meeting in Presque Isle. Eyes burning from little sleep, as usual. (Oh to sleep well at night.) Those of you not from Maine, get a map. Find Allagash. Find Houlton. Houlton is where we leave two-lane road and find an Interstate! At least one female hummingbird is still here today. Watch this late afternoon and early evening to see if any are still feeding in Allagash so we can determine what day they leave. Males gone almost a week. Ill be at the Childrens Cellar in Waterville today at 3 PM. (I better leave soon to be sure Im on time.) I may then drive to Augusta to spend the night. (J Mills,where are you??) And where is all that yellow sunshine from yesterday? Its raining now. Okay, to drag my suitcase out of the house yet again. Its been the busiest year and a half of my 30-year career since my entire backlist of 7 novels were reprinted. They are being done as audio books as I write, by two lovely women who email questions about pronunciatons of names and words, including PELLETIER. I have only unpacked my suitcase in the past 18 months to repack it. See you later, all. Be safe.
