So Im sitting out to have a cigarette for a bit and two guys that work in the shop next to me that Im acquainted with come out. And theyre talkin. Apparently about some shit that went down earlier in the morning. One is a 1st class fairly new to the shop and the other is a veteran 2nd class thats been here for awhile. They got into a mild argument apparently earlier in the day and were getting it squared away, man to man, away from the workers they supervise. And I must say, I shoulda had a camera there. They woulda won an Oscar. The level of mutual respect, and the dynamic of the conversation was unlike ANYTHING Ive ever seen before. One towards the others rank, the other towards his tenure. Those were two men, handling shit men are supposed to handle shit. Assertive, strong but moreso with respect to the others opinion. It was unreal. Enough for me to post about it.
