So Im up this morning going to the store to do some grocery shopping. As I was leaving, I noticed an elderly gentleman passed out in front of his wheelchair. Upon closer inspection, he was an amputee. He looked lifeless so I shook him and asked if he was okay. He mumbled. I went back to the car to get a blanket for him. I covered him not just for warmth, but he had his wallet exposed. Bring concerned, I called 911 and the sent the police and fire dept to check on him. I stated until they said he was okay (police say they saw him earlier across the street at quick trip). As I waited, people walked by him not even caring if he was okay. I am posting this because I was feeling a little depressed last night. I thank God for blessing me with another day to see and I have a roof over my head and people who love and care for me. I am going to go into this new year with a more positive attitude. My life could be worse....although the police says they know about this man....this is his routine and he refused care. Im glad he is okay. As you can see, he went right back to sleep with the blanket over him ( smile). Be blessed FB fam.
