So Ive been a little quiet this week as Ive been prepping (coming up to 4 weeks out this weekend) but fighting a little stomach bug. Havent let it stand in the way of doing what I need to do or getting work in...but it sure is making me feel like crap in the gym with training LOL! Anyway all will pass in time as it always does so just waiting it out and doing what I need to do. The bad thing about a stomach bug is that the body doesnt look normal...as it is either dehydrated, or lacking in electrolytes, or flushing food through too quickly...so in bodybuilding terms that means the muscles look flat and the body is holding water at the same time. Not a good place to analyze what is going on. The key here is to at some points in the diet when external circumstances come your way is to STAY THE COURSE and do what needs to get done. Thankfully I am still able to eat my meals, do my cardio and train, although I feel like a flat, weak noodle this week in the gym (and probably look like one too!). Bottom line is KEEP MOVING and the body will heal itself....I feel on track but just cant see it now but know that this too shall pass. There must be something going around the island here as I know a couple other people who have had something. So.....will post more next week and hopefully feel a little better! Hope your week went well and you are pushing through whatever obstacles are in your way. To be a champion means to find a way over/through/around whatever is going on...to not be a victim...not blame others or circumstances for a failure to follow-through. 100% every day the best you can be...
