So Ive been listening to Eddie Huangs audio book on YouTube (will link in the comments); if you dont know Eddie Huang, he is a chef who runs a restaurant called BaoHaus in NYC and he also has a show on VICE called Fresh Off The Boat (probably NSFW), where he explores other cultures and their foods. ABC is also putting together a family comedy based on his book, also just called Fresh Off The Boat I think. Apparently last year he did an interview with Joe Rogan where he talked about what its actually like to give a TED talk, and its pretty messed up; its definitely a situation that I would never have imagined looking at it from the outside.
