So Ive been thinking lately. Ever since I can remember Ive desired two thing from life; a wife and family. Ive spent a lot of time and effort chasing after those two things and come up empty. Ive spent tons of time trying to prepare myself to be those things. Ive even allowed myself to believe the lie that Id be able to serve God better if I was married. Ive now conceded to the fact that maybe that isnt what God wants for me st all. At the least, I have decided to lay those desires aside so they no longer distract me from following after God. God can and will use me just as I am. He is not limited by my singleness, and I refuse to allow myself or anyone else to limit me either. If God blesses me with these desires it will be on His terms; not my own.
