So Ive been uneasy since the sale of 95 to the vet who bought her - TopicsExpress

So Ive been uneasy since the sale of 95 to the vet who bought her last night. The uneasiness comes from how deceived and confused he is in the theology he quoted in our conversation. I felt so unequipped to take on all his misunderstandings about who God really is. He quoted things like Jesus is our Lord, not God, Hes our grandfather and we are not to pray to Him. Other misunderstandings included: *you only have 14 days to receive a blessing from God or youll miss it *Moses was stronger than God bc of the staff that God gave him, God was unable to kill Moses and the Hebrews because of that staff *Good is mad at him and hasnt spoken to him in 20 yrs yet... *Jesus at certain times can come into your body and look through your eyes and see everything that you see. He is here now so Jesus s looking at you right now. There was so much other stuff that he believed that I was stunned...I asked him where he learned these things because those things are not in my bible anywhere. He said he doesnt have faith in the whole bible (ok this is one I KNEW from our recent Timothy study). I replied that in 2 Timothy Paul stated in his letter that all scripture is God breathed an profitable for training, teaching and reproof. He said yes he knew that but Jesus speaks to him in his heart and from there to his imagination into action. I gently cautioned him about discernment but felt again, so inadequate to share with him all the non truths he was holding so tightly to that was not from the word of God. We prayed for him and will continue to do so in hopes that somewhere there will be a mentor for him who will teach him truths of who our Father truly is. And I ask for the Lord to help me continue to learn so that I will be a student of the word. That way when Im faced with this situation again I will feel less inadequate to engage in the truth that God has given us in His word....
