So, Ive got the jonesing to play some Monsterpocalypse again. After looking at online prices, I figured out itd be much cheaper to just buy cases and sell off the factions Im not interested in. I also figured Id much rather sell to local players to try to get a scene going than toss them on eBay. If youve never played, MonPoc is essentially like a chess, only your king is a giant monster and wants to body slam other giant monsters into buildings. Your other pieces are things like tanks, dinosaurs, bugs, and mutated tentacled thingies and they run around the board securing locations and helping your big guy out. The factions I have available are: Lord of Cthuul (tentacled Cthulhu monsters) Shadow Sun Syndicate (think Japanese Ultraman type stuff) Martian Menace (think a mix between ID4 type saucers and War of the World Walkers) Elemental Champions (think Captain Planet if it wasnt for pussies) Tritons (giant sea monsters and Jules Verne-esque subs) Subterran Uprising (molemen with giant drills) Savage Swarm (giant bugs) You can get more info and check out pics here: teamcovenant/wiki/Portal:Monsterpocalypse I have roughly 2-4 monsters for each faction, along with more than enough units to be able to play.
