So Ive had this theory since I was a kid about dreams actually - TopicsExpress

So Ive had this theory since I was a kid about dreams actually being glimpses into other places/realities that exist. Other lives that you are living, or have lived. When your primary reality is on hold, like it is during sleep, your secondary ones can be experienced ever so slightly. Just a peek at whats going on elsewhere. Recently, I read an article in which scientists are talking about quantum physics and how multiple universes exist, with new ones being created for every point in which some kind of decision, or point of multiple outcomes, is made. Some of those scientists have said that it may be possible for you to have a presence in different realities because of this. For example: You wake up this morning and wonder about going to see a film. A split is created. In this reality, youve decided to stay at home and read a book. In the split, youve gone to the film. Those scientists that are talking about this say that this would mean you have multiple realities in which you live in, seeing as how there are splits occurring countless times a day. However, you are only aware of the one you currently experience (each you is only aware of their own singular environment). They theorize that once you die, your focus shifts to another you. Some realities are closer than others, meaning some seem very much like this one now, but splits that happened earlier give rise to much different outcomes. If you saw into one that happened this morning, you wouldnt notice the difference. But one that happened when you were two years old might seem unrecognizable. So, if thats possible... perhaps we do look into our other realities when were out. And why some dreams seem so mundane, and others seem so fantastic, nightmarish, or otherwise out of the norm. Perhaps lucid dreamers are actually experiencing another version of themselves and not controlling a dream. I would have to have a good long laugh if this thinking, that has been with me since I was a teen, turned out to be true. How would such a thing be proven? No idea, Im not a scientist. I just seem to be cursed with trippy thoughts. Yeah, this is on my mind this morning just as I wake up. Too deep/trippy for a Sunday morning?
