So Ive spent the past 24 hours wet, cold and wading through ankle deep black mud- its been blooming brilliant!! Swanage was a lovely town. Roy from Earthlights Cafe sorted me out with a cheese sandwich- brown bread- and a giant pot of tea. Really quirky building in the centre of the town, if youre in the area, go support him :) and Dave the mechanic at the lifeboat station talked me through all the plans for the brand new boathouse being built over the next year. Currently, apart from the fact the walls are subsiding(?), they have no showers or changing rooms which means the crew of men and women have to get changed in the tiniest of spaces.
