So Jaime Castle George and I were having a relaxing mani-pedi at the salon when I hear this loud, domineering voice start to complain to the owner that the nail tech left her high and dry to attend to THAT girls funky feet and shes not going to stand for that! Interrupted of my rather warm foot soak, I peered around the column to see to whom she was referring. As I generally dont have funky feet, I assumed she could not be referring to me. However, the height of her arched eyebrow to which I was met confirmed I was her target of displeasure. I said hey! and was, with admonishment, advised to not even THINK about getting out of my chair (like I was?). I blinked in utter amazement at her ignorance and chose to sit back and steam instead of causing a scene. As a regular customer, I had seen her cause trouble before. Just goes to show you that a trip to the spa is not always relaxing and confrontation-free (could have spent my day at many other locations if I was looking for that environment!). And just for the record, my feet are definitely not funky!!!
