So Lt. Gen Thomas Cirilo, an SPLA top brass is absent! Mmm... Interesting. I detest to say this, and though said untimely, I neither meant to disrespect nor implicate my Equatorian brothers and sisters in anyway. What Im about to say here has nothing to do with Equatoria or Equatorians socially or politically. Thus, I urge all readers of this status not to blow it out of proportion. It must be treated as a correspondent independent of any political opinion that may correlate to Equatoria or Equatorians respectfully. Now with that said, the absence of Lt. Gen Thomas Cirilo was foreseen by those who (through fate) happen to have met ambassador Ezekiel Lul; and have listened carefully to all the remarks and statements made during the ambassadors diplomatic mission to the West. Australia was among the few western countries he visited. Myself and a few others were privileged enough to be among the grateful famulus in both public and private occasions the ambassador was hosted in. For the record, Ezekiel Lol was very charismatic. Some had a chance to have their queries attended to by the ambassador, while others (inclusive of myself) were less fortunate, but nonetheless, I must convey my utmost respect. For a politician that he is, I admire Ezekiels eloquence. I thought he was quite a sincere orator... well he was to some extent. Asked why the SPLA-IOs politburo contained the rebellion to Upper Nile only, as opposed to the other two regions, especially Equatoria... Ezekiel simply responded Equatoria is boiling. When asked to rectify his maxim and if the rebellion was in contact with Lt. Gen Thomas Cirilo at all... He deliberated that the movement was indeed in contact with the high profile General, and that the rebel movement was in process of establishing a strategic Chanel of supplying arms and other necessary logistics and support to Equatoria, prior to spreading the rebellion to the region. He re-assured that Equatoria will erupt soon.. Satisfied with the answer, the rebel sympathisers asked the next question, which now made me look at the sudden disappearance of the General with suspicious eyes... For the success of the revolution, it is important to encourage him (Thomas Cirilo) and other Equatorian generals within the ranks of the SPLA to mobilise the Equatorian youth to take up arms against the dictatorial regime. You must hastily establish telecommunication between us (The Equatorian elders in the diaspora) and Thomas such that we are positioned to encourage him to tale prompt actions... A certain elder remarked~ Thank you for your strategic support, I will call him tonight and let him know the importance of establishing a communication network with you. He will in fact be in touch with you. But of course, this has to be done with full acknowledgement and consideration of our intelligence apparatus. Ezekiel responded. Mmmm... Interesting I said.
