So, Monday evening around dusk I closed the windows on my truck. Little did I know our cat Boo was sleeping in the back seat. Tuesday after work I walked by the truck and noticed her looking out the window. Unfortunately, she had stepped on the electric lock on the armrest locking herself in, along with my keys. Unable to locate my spare set I called the deputies to see if they could spring the lock. Nope! They dont do that for cats! If it was a kid they would. It didnt matter that the temps reached 90 during the day (thank God for tinted windows!) I did call the service station and within 20 minutes our cat was free and AAA covered it. In the last two days a number of individuals have been arrested for leaving their pets in vehicles so where is the line drawn? Should I have told them the cat was Black?
