So Snowden finally gives another press conference (or was it not a press conference?) and no one asked him about Putin or the Ukraine? I dont get it. Why doesnt he give a real live honest press conference? Whats with the carefully controlled events and softball questions? If he wants to be a public figure he ought to act like one and stop hiding behind his handlers, publicists and the former KGB. Its one thing to fear the US government, its another to fear the press...and us, apparently. If he were a government official youd assume he was hiding something. He certainly doesnt want anybody asking him unexpected questions. He has definitely taken up residence in the right country, then, and works for the right people.
