So... The day after tomorrow Ill run the Spartan Beast. The day after that, Ill run the Tough Mudder. I want to explain my thoughts about this (though you might say that Im not really thinking). Im not really out to prove anything (well, maybe a little to myself but its not the primary reason). Ive made a lot of important strides in the past year regarding my health and fitness. I can do things I didnt think Id be able to do. The idea of practical fitness, natural movement and the MovNat method have been revolutionary to me. This isnt the top be a toughness challenge for me. This will be a skill test. I want the opportunity to dynamically apply the skills weve all been building together. A few years ago I ran the Tough Mudder and completed it but I failed a few obstacles. I intend to do better this time. I want to demonstrate practical fitness. Fit for what? Fit for life.
