So, a few days off, no visitors and now no excuse for not getting on with some personal sewing. We have a holiday in NE Scotland coming up in 18 days so the plan is to try to make a holiday capsule wardrobe. Theoretically, I need 11 items but I already have a dress, cardigan and a pair of trousers that fit into my jade/green/cream scheme. Yesterday was spent auditioning fabrics and pre - shrinking those that made the grade. Today I plan to leap into the loft to dig out some patterns and tomorrow will be fitting, possibly with a hint of cutting out. Wish me luck!
