So about an hour ago, I saw a dude stumble off the bus at the corner of Laurel Canyon and Magnolia, fall on all fours, and puke on the sidewalk. I mean, this dude was heaving and chucking out his guts. I was RIGHT THERE because I had to wait for the bus to move because the bus was blocking me leaving the Jons parking lot. I rolled down my passenger side window and asked the dude as he was getting back up if he was ok, if he needed medical assistance, or a ride to a clinic or something. The dude looked at me annoyed or pissed off and he swung his backpack in the direction of my truck and grunted and then he ran off towards Jons Grocery. An Asian woman at the bus stop was like call the police. And then a skateboarder came up and rode right through the puke on the sidewalk without a notice or a care in the world. The dude ran past the Jons and I lost sight of him when he ran behind the grocery store. I was like what the hell and then drove home thinking only in LA. And then I made spaghetti and meatballs and ate. And then I sat down and wrote this post.
