So about me-I am a semi-self taught spinner, in 4 years I had 1 spindle lesson and 1 wheel lesson. I love my sheep (alpaca and mohair are coming into the picture), fiber, knitting and crochet. Mostly self taught. Ive been spinning single ply yarns (I think they are soft, airy and fun to knit) and am now trying my hand at a 2 ply. My question-I was hoping to do a black and tan 2 ply, but I dont think Ill have enough black. This is alpaca btw. Can I ply it with a wool strand or should I do a black and tan strand and ply with that? Thank you!
