So, about that amazing birthday weekend :D....Back in 2012, when Jim came out to see me for the very first time, our first official date was at Pier 39. We had a lovely dinner, did some shopping and spent a couple of hours playing at the arcade thats at the end of the pier. We already knew how perfect we were for each other, but those two hours acting like a bunch of kids trying to one up each other at the countless games there really solidified it. Each time he comes back we always go back to the Pier. Its always just as fun as the first time. We play, we laugh, we gather a ton of tickets(pic #1) and come away with some cool gifts for his son BJ. So, for my birthday we decided to go back there knowing it was a great time guaranteed. Every time we go back it amazes me how cool the prizes are that you can pick up with a few hundred tickets. This year was no different!. Only this time, they were better! You can come away with everything from gum, candy, erasers, stickers, SF memorabilia to the cool Minion in pic #2 , to soccer balls and even an engagement ring! (pics #3 &4) As you can see from the last pic, I said what? LOL and then, of course, I said yes! (he didnt actually get the ring at the arcade :P he brought it with him from Australia. He didnt propose at the actual arcade. It was much more romantic than that lol He took me to the end of the Pier where we could faintly see Alcatraz in the background since it was already nighttime and had an awesome view of the Bay Bridge with a beautiful light fog starting to cover the Bay)
