So after 2 weeks of owning it I beat the allegedly super hard game - TopicsExpress

So after 2 weeks of owning it I beat the allegedly super hard game called Dark Souls. And I wanna say some things about it. First of all, yes, the game IS difficult. But most of it just requires a level head an patience to beat. I say most because some parts of this game are flawed, and these flaws add the difficulty. There are rare points in the game where the difficulty becomes artificial. Which pretty much means the creators made complete BS sections and justified the poor design by calling it hard. Also, the collision for many of the slopes and platforming is AWFUL. Some areas do not indicate being transverable. And Lord help you if you try rolling off anywhere because the slope and architecture collision falls apart and pushes you to your death. The worst area in the game was Blighttown for this reason. 90% of my deaths were from falling to my death where I shouldnt have, causing me to lose millions of souls. I didnt even kill 2 of the bosses, they FELL off a ledge! And it is wrong to take such a horrible design element and called it part of the difficulty. People love a challenge, but artificial difficulty is just frustrating and NOT fun at all. And that is NOT what you want to do to your fans. That being said, the game is flipping amazing. The game is DANGEROUSLY addictive. Once Lordran sucks you in it is hard to escape, I played over 70 hours of the game in the 2 weeks of owning it. I decided to start fresh rather than NG+ and I am having a blast. I highly recommend this game to people who are VERY patient.
