So after receiving my left kidney my mom (who is at least 6 yrs older than most recipients even approved for transplant) is told she is functioning in the top 10 percent of function for someone 3 months out from transplant and that the kidney (lovingly named Leftina) is functioning like two kidneys!! Wooohooo! Go Leftina!! PS Leftina, your sister kidney, Rightara says You go girl! I knew you could do it!! I am forever holding you energetically in love and support.You are taking great care of Julias mom! ;)
