So after seeing Bobs Spreader the other day I was reminded that I too got a 3 in 1 kit back in the 90s and had a crack at making one! I emailed my step dad and got him to see if I still had any models left in storage there (he or his lady had managed to throw out all my HOn30 narrow gauge models.. or maybe they got given to someone else, I dont know but I am a bit bummed they vanished) Still I got all my H.O models sent over that he found, as u can see, the spreader was in crap condition, looked like it had been stepped on, not to mention it was one of those early projects (and it made me cringe looking at it) I immediately wanted to start a rebuild project (after all I had the frame and half the parts) but no plans. The other day I managed to acquire an original unbuilt kit! (ha-ray for second chances) and complete with plans as well (which are what I really needed) So now I am going to do a rebuild and new build.
