So am I the only one dead sick of people pretending to care about personal/social/global issues for the sake of saving face? Stop trying to state the obvious as if it were your own opinion, especially when you do literally NOTHING about the issue but talk about it on Facebook. I wish it were socially acceptable for me to call people out in every case of this selfish and shameful act but enough people in this town hate me as is. Recent example: You might say Its unbelievable that it takes the death of a celebrity to raise peoples awareness of depression. As if to imply youre not one of these people? When clearly the fact that youre discussing it now and have never before, is proof enough that you are? What I read is I have no particular interest in doing anything about this issue and never have but now that people are talking about it, let me be the first to pretend I give a shit so I can boost my social status Liking the sound of an ideal and living by it are two very different things. Anyone guilty of this should feel ashamed, and Im sure they would if they could admit it to themselves. Stop pretending to care. Its disgusting.
