So, an update for you. My back surgery is scheduled for this coming Friday, Nov 28th. It is supposed to just be a simple surgery, removing the ruptured piece of disc that is pinching and causing some nerve damage in my legs. I have another herniated disc that is not causing any trouble, so he will just leave that one alone. Hopefully, this will stop the pain and I can get back to walking again and being as normal as I possibly can. I get to enjoy Thanksgiving dinner and spend some quality time with my 2 beautiful kids. I will be in the hospital for over night and will be off work for about 2 weeks. Luckily I am a banker, I can sit or stand at work, and money does not weigh much so I can go back to work alot quicker than if I were a housekeeper or something that requires more physical labor rather than mental. And I work with some awesome girls that help me alot with lifting and bending already, so I know I can expect the same support from them. They are just awesome and I love them all. Anyway, this week will be busy getting things ready for the upcoming events. Thanksgiving, surgery, our Gift Giving Tree at work (which I am happy to say that we so far have 3 families that we have adopted), getting jobs delegated at work, getting my house ready so I hopefully wont be tempted to do anything I shouldnt do after surgery. And I have decided that we will be putting our Christmas Tree up on Thanksgiving as well. Early you say? I know, but I dont care. lol. So, busy busy this week. But after Thanksgiving, I will be at home unable to drive anywhere, waiting for Delayna to get home from school and basketball to take me somewhere and get me out of the house. And April, depending how I feel, I may or may not see you at the first couple of Basketball games, but I will be seeing you soon. I know many of you will be sending prayers, so thank you all in advance. Someone will probably post an update after my surgery. Hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving and their families. I know I will enjoy my day with my Beauty and my Handsome.
