So as I am discussing a new and difficult diagnosis with a patient today I was struggling with how to reassure him about it. I honestly felt like I was losing the battle and out of my mouth came a scripture that I have relied on for years in difficult situations. To my surprise, the patient and his wife were speechless for a moment before telling me that was the patients favorite scripture. Amazing timing God! :) Matthew 7:7-8 7 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.
