So, as I said before that the girls were home most of last week due to the insanely cold temps we had, right after the LONG 2 week break over the holidays. So, if that wasnt enough my laptop stopped working ON Christmas Eve of all days, I bought a couple replacement parts hoping that would fix the problem.. Nope.. So my near n dear laptop of 5 yrs got sent to the shop Saturday to be fixed. Costing me a small fortune but she will hopefully be good to go wednesday (later today). Oh.. N if that wasnt enough yet I got slammed with what I think is probably bronchitis n been sick as a dog since. :-( Jordan had a few tough ABA sessions consisting of her testing them n their will to be consistent but they did and all involved survived lol. Jordan had a session today with newest therapist L and all went well yay!! Girls have been back in school two days now that we are above freezing! So my days are sleeeeppp n trying to beat this bug. Met with Jordans caseworker and senior L Monday and out of Jordans waiver funding are going to see if we can get her a small apt sized elliptical machine for the living room! Jordan is a HUgE vestibular input seeker so during the winter, rainy days, too hot summer days, nights.. Etc she can get her input!! Crossing every appendage they approve it!! Sooo sounds like a lot right? Thats not even everything lol. When I requested the IEP meeting a couple months ago and had it revised that was at my request due to a lot of ongoing problems. That means that officially her IEP expires on 2/6/15 a yr from her original one. So yea.. I have another IEP meeting to look forward to.. Yay! Lol Nope still not it! If I had not gotten sick, Jordan would have been staying home tomorrow to go to Milwaukee for Neuro consult to find out if she has been having absent seizures.. 2/3 hr drive each way, by myself with her, plus appt.. While sick was just not going to work. When I do this consult I need to be on my A game n be alert n be able to explain what I have been seeing. So.. As much as I hated doing it, i rescheduled :-( they are booked until next month. So in the meantime I have a whole list of stuff here n now n watching her episodes until then. Sigh..typing this made me tired lol Maybe cuz its 1:30am? Lolol #dayinthelife #wheresmyvacation #downsidetosingleparenthood
