So at the gas station today i noticed that this ....well lets just say worn looking lady with two kids paid for drinks potato chips,and some candy with a food stamp card,then paid for $5.00 in gas with 3 $1.00 bills and some change...then she went to the lottery line and spent $20.00 on lottery tickets!!!It just blew my mind,I dont know why,but it really bothers me,the fact that she obviously had to scrape up change just to pay for gas,but somehow she had it in her budget to spend $20.00 on lottery tickets,add in the fact of the food stamps she receives (which i mean no offense to anyone receiving food stamps) and it was just another situation that makes me feel that the lottery should somehow be controlled or something that would limit people that receive Government assistance.#justmyopinion
