So basically the president said last night, we will refuse to enforce the law of the land as it relates to deporting illegals in this country unless theyre felons. He continues to refuse to work with Congress in any way. People have mentioned the Bush and Reagan amnesties for illegals but they do so out of context. Both of those were compromises in order to achieve the goal of border security the president wanted and they conceded the amnesty in order to achieve those goals because they were negotiating with Congress as is their constitutional duty. Our current president may choose to not uphold the law and he may choose to not work with Congress. Congress may choose to exercise their power to impeach him as a result. This isnt because theyre racist, its because it is their duty to pass laws and the duty of the president to abide by, and enforce those laws. Just like the previous impeachment proceedings against Johnson, Nixon and Clinton, no different unless the White House and media make you think its because of his skin color.
