So black friday is starting at six on thursday now? You know i didnt mind it so much when it was at like 8 or 9 when thanksgiving was pretty much over for most people but now these companies are ruining thanksgiving for so many people. It was ment to be a day when families could just get together and truly enjoy each others company. Its such a rare opportunity for days like these to happen for a average family, just a day with no worries no cares no problems just the nice feeling of togetherness and of bonding with those you care about. Now that i think about it thanksgiving is really the purest holiday there is. Sure you could argue people just want to eat good food but is traveling from california to new york really worth eating a turkey dinner for or is worth seeing ones you never get to see or spend time with? I mean i wouldnt even travel from tampa to orlando for turkey but i would if my family was gonna be there. But now because of corrupt companies exploiting peoples financial burdens in a tough economy this rare opportunity that should be charished is being taken away. I dont blame people who go black friday shopping. i mean in a harsh economy its a great way to get the things you normally cant afford for a great price and gifts for those on christmas cheaper and we all kno how expensive christmas can get. If anything i blame the companies who exploit peoples needs for there own means. i guess i just hope society will not forget the true value in thanksgiving and not just on how much it can save you is all lol
