So by posting this I am not looking for pitty, or any of that. I am just simply sharing my stories to make people aware of what stealing dogs can do. (story #1) So the dog in the right side of the picture was a puppy that was abandoned in Wal-Mart. She was left in a box in the parking lot in February. She was the only one in this box. My brother was the one who found her and rescued her and gave her to me on valentines day! I decided to name her Jordynn. She was super scared and timid for about a week and then she started to be spoiled with toys and we started working on her obedience so she got treats when she did right! As little jordie (nickname) got older her full personality came to bloom and she was just the best dog that I could have asked for. She was my first real dog. She was my protector (she followed me EVERYWHERE, she laid against my bedroom door at night and refused to sleep on my bed with me), my bestfriend that would give me doggie hugs everytime I came home (everyone with a dog knows how doggie hugs go!) so one day when I came home from school... My bestfriend was gone. My mom works from home and said she let her out and within 20 mins where she went back out to let her in, my dog was gone. So out of instinct I went to the humane society, put ads in the shopper, went around town.... Just repeated stuff for over a week and then it hit me I couldnt do anything to get my dog, Jordynn, back. My best friend of 2 years was gone. (Story #2) So a few months went by and my brothers and mom were talking about getting me another dog. So my mom and I decided to go to Wal-Mart (walmart puppies are the best!) and we saw this lady there with puppies. Well she was selling these puppies for 5-10 bucks but a guy had come to her right before we got there and told her, if these are all still here when I come out Ill take all 5 and so she just gave me him for free. (Of course I had to pick the little hyper bundle out of the group!) so within 20 minutes we just HAD to spoil him with toys! But once we got to my house he was feeling the separation anxiety from his mama and kept me up all night crying! Id just pet him and calm him down to make him fall back asleep. (He liked to sleep under pillows because he was so tiny he could fit under!) so once again my dogs personality started to bloom... And boy was he my little baby. (His nick names were baby Lucian and pollution Lucian) I named him Lucian (after the underworld series) and he was the dog that I put my all into. After Jordynn I just didnt want to go through that again. He gave the same doggie hugs that Jordynn had and he filled the hole. Not completely because I would never try to replace Jordynn. But he was a new start. But little did I know.... My time with him was shorter. I had him for about 9 months when he was taken from my yard. With him I take my dogs collars off when we go to sleep because.... I just do. And I forgot to put it on him because I was rushed for school one morning. Well the repeated thing happened and my reactions were the same but emotionally I was torn. Both of these bestfriends I had developed, trust put in each other were both gone. So with these stories I just wanted to share with this page because I deemed it necessary to show how bad losing dogs can feel when they are forced away from you. If you read the whole thing I want to thank you for taking time out of your day for acknowledging my stories! So thank you again and may all your little furry friends be maybe looked at more appreciated! Give them an extra hug! (:
